Boyteks and Erciyes University united forces for cardiac patients

A collaborative Project by the leading textile Corporation Boyteks and Erciyes University has developed a cardiac patch to treat the loss of cardiac tissue in patients suffering from cardiopathy and especially myocardial infarction.
 
We developed with knitted Terry fabrics which have similar to the cardiac muscle
 
The Project integrates the textile-based technology of knitted Terry fabrics which have similar mechanical qualities to the cardiac muscle. Biocompatible yarn perform like the ideal cardiac muscle and is used in the regeneration of the myocardium.
 
We developed a tecnology with patent
 
This cardiac patch is a patented tecnology registered by the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office and is currently patent protected both nationally and internationally.
